Today the control of road traffic is considered to be one of the main problems for realizing the concept of “smart city”.
Crossroads with remote control, street lighting, traffic enforcement cameras, barriers, the system for counting the means of transportation – these are the first steps for the safe city.
For all this it is required to have a software system, monitoring center and appropriate devices.
Having 10 years of experience in creating and investing monitoring and dispatching centers, in the spheres of State Security, health care, water supply and monitoring means of transportation, our company has created a centralized software system for controlling crossroads, barriers and street lighting.
We have created 32-channel traffic lights via GSM control. The controller can operate autonomously according to the mode set by the server, change the modes depending on the time of the day and information about the flow or directly from the server.
Our software allows remotely control the algorithm of each crossroad, count the optimal algorithm for the entire line or for each crossroad separately, create "green road" along the route, send a new algorithm to the Control Unit, depending on the traffic status.
This system has fully been designed and implemented by our company.
A special algorithm has been designed which counts machines according to their simultaneous classification and length. The system includes counting modules consisting of camera, microcomputer and centralized software. GSM channels are used for communication.
